Denali Backcountry Guides

Heli hikes are offered 3 times a day at 7am, 11am, and 4pm. Small groups(5 travelers and 1 guide)fly to the mountains of the central Alaska range, and spend the next 3 hours looking for wildlife, exploring the ridges and enjoying the scenery. The helicopter returns to pick everyone up in time for lunch, dinner, and train connections.

Our hikes vary in length and difficulty according to the traveler. We often see caribou, marmots, and Dall sheep. Also bear, coyote, wolverines, and moose.

We can accomodate all age ranges and many disabilities. Wheelchair accessible

We include group camping equipment, meals and guides on all overnight trips. Personal equipment is also available for day trips (coats, hats, gloves, etc.)
