Limin'House Villa

West End, Tortola, is an area of Tortola that still has that "old-time" Caribbean feeling. There are several intimate restaurants serving local and continental fare; bars/pubs which offer live local music on the weekend;
small family owned grocery stores; access to the ferry which can take you to the U.S. Virgin Islands of St. Thomas and St. John, or several other British Virgin Islands including Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda and Peter Island. It is a friendly area which encompasses many great trails through the wooded hillside and on to Smuggler's Cove..a beautiful beach, where the remake of Old Man in the Sea, with Anthony Quinn, was filmed.

Limin'House is situated halfway up the hill, above Soper's Hole and Marina. It is surrounded by lush foliage..bougainvillea, jasmine, palms and gardenias. The house faces south and there are outstanding views to St. Thomas, St. John and Norman Island. You will enjoy wonderful sunrises and sunsets. The villa is equipped with a stereo system throughout the living room, dining verandah and pool/bar patio. There is an extensive and ecclectic CD collection to set the mood. There are also cd and video players in each of the bedrooms, as well as Cable TV in the living room and master bedroom. The pool and dining verandahs are centrally located with the kitchen at the "hub". This is a perfect layout for entertaining large groups or several couples. However, there are many private balconies and patios to escape to when privacy and seclusion is desired. The villas has hosted many honeymoons, so it is equally suited to intimate vacations for two.
The kitchen is wonderfully appointed with fine appliances which will complement the talents of any chef. There is a magical feeling at Limin'House which is indescribable, but has been mentioned in the guest book by many of our visitors. You will have to come and visit personally, in order to understand the warmth and allure that epitomizes Limin'House.

There are three bedrooms, each with private baths. One queen size bedroom, with wonderful outdoor stone shower. One twin size bedroom, which can be converted to King, also with outdoor stone shower, that has a wonderful view of the marina below. And one full size bedroom with indoor shower. In addition, two people may be accommodated either on the couches, which are daybeds, in the living room, or on a queen size sofa bed on the covered verandah. Either option would share the bath with the full size bedroom. Each bedroom has airconditioning, as well as, ceiling fans.

Cable TV is provided in the living room and master bedroom. Video and CD players are in each other bedroom. The main house stereo system is a CD player that has separate speakers in the living room, dining verandah, pool bar and pool patio for music whereever you are! The kitchen has a subzero refrigerator/freezer, separate icemaker, microwave, Asko dishwasher and Viking stove. On the dining verandah there is a 48" stainless steel DCS grill/rotisserie.
