We hope so, because these are the legends of the Tour de France, the Classique des Alpes, and many other rides made famous over many years. On this tour you can learn how the pro riders suffer and take inspiration from the amazing beauty of these spectacular mountains. Go to the top of Alpe d’Huez, touch the monument to Henri Desgranges at the summit of the Galibier, climb Les Deux Alpes, Lautaret, and others! If you are experienced and passionate, then come climb where legends have passed !
A short but intense bike program in one of the most famous and scenic mountain areas of the French Alps. In this program we combined the most challenging ‘cols’ or summits. Our base ‘camp’ is the charming village of Le Bourg-d’Oisans. This attractive local capital of the Oisans mountain area offers a wide range of winter and summer sports and is an ideal point of departure for cyclists and ATB-riders. On arrival you get a detailed briefing upon the cycle possibilities, the course and organization of your holiday. In order to optimally enjoy this beautiful area, you overnight in a cosy B&B mountain chalet or a charming hotel looking out on to Alpe d’Huez. After the rides, the little town of Bourg d’Oissans has some stores, restaurants, and bars for winding down.

A legendary day - This vertical climb of 1.120m (3.733 feet), 14 km (8.75 miles) long, gradients between 7.7 and 12% and 21 switchbacks is one of the most historical and heroic ones in the history of the Tour de France. Again, you can warm up with some miles in lower valleys around Bourg d’Oissans.

Accommodation: 4 nights in B&B*** or hotel** in Le Bourg d’Oisans – Transportation transfers possible from/to Avignon or Lyon TGV-station
Bike: Rent our Eddy Merckx bicycles; 125 Euros
Tours: The proposed climbs have an elevation between 719m (2.397 feet) and 2.556m(8520 feet), gradients vary between between 3.8 and 12 % - each climb will be extended by a warm-up and cool down rides.
Trip includes: TGV railstation transfer Grenoble, round trip, welcome drink, 4 nights lodging half board + picnic lunches - guide with vehicle assistance, supply and emergency support, food bars, energy drinks. Note: prices in Euros are fixed; final payment in $US may change based upon currency fluctuations.
