North Vietnam Exploreation
Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (D)
We will meet you at the airport of Hanoi and transfer to hotel. Then have a brief tour of Hanoi to visit the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc son Temple and a rickshaw tour for 1 hour in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, also know as the 36 ancient streets and guilds. You will be treated to a water puppet performance, a unique art performing of Vietnamese people which dates back to the 11th century. Have dinner before going back to hotel.
Day 2: Hanoi – Ba Be National Park Homestay (B, L, D)
This morning we drive to the Northeast of Vietnam (240km), we will stop to visit the Ethnical Museum in Thai Nguyen, continue on to our rote to Bakan. We stop for lunch on the way and also for photograph at the villages of the ethnic minorities such as Tay, Nung…
Arrival Ba Be National Park in the afternoon, you will be guest of the Tay family by the Ba Be lake, walk around the village while the family prepare your dinner. Stay in the local family.
Day 3: Ba Be National Park
Today, you will go further into the national park for a boat trip on Ba Be Lake; you will pass by different islands and lakes. Then stop to visit a cave and trek in the villages of minority and stop at the Dau Dang Waterfall. Picnic lunch will be severed on the way. Then boat trip back to meet our vehicle for transfer to Cho Ra Town for overnight stay.
Day 4: Ba Be – Hanoi (B, L, D)
Today we make our excursion back to Hanoi with stop for lunch on the way and photograph.
Day 5 Hanoi - Halong - Cat Ba (B, L, D)
We drive through the Red River Delta to Halong Bay. We stop for short break and photograph on the way. On arrival, we board our boat for a boat trip in Halong Bay, stop to visit Thien Cung and Dau Go cave then continue on into Halong Bay and to Cat Ba Island. Lunch will be served with sea foods. We stop for swimming as you preferred. As you arrive in Cat Ba, check into the hotel. The rest of day is free for swimming at Cat Ba beach.
Day 6: Cat Ba – Hai Phong – Hanoi (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we drive to Cat Ba National Park, stop to visit the Military Hostpital Cave. As you are in the national park, you will have a short trekking tour for 2 hour and 30 minutes. You will hike in the national park the climb up to Ngu Lam Mountain for an overview of this island Then back to Cat Ba Town for lunch and check out. You will be free until time leaving the hotel for the express boat trip to Hai Phong City. Meet our driver there and go back to Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi (B, L, D)
Enjoy a day to explore the beautiful countryside of Vietnam on an excursion to Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam under the King Dinh and King Le dynasties. The area still features relics from the 10th century. Nearby, the famous three caves at Tam Coc are accessible during your boat trip on Hoang Long River. The limestone Mountains and caves are formed by wind and sea, the caves one aspect of the unique and beautiful sights of Vietnam’s lovely landscape.
Day 8: Hanoi – Mai Chau (B, L, D)
We leave for Mai Chau villages in Hoa Binh province. This scenic drive takes around three hours. Along the way we pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies. Flowing lunch in Mai Chau town we spend the afternoon walking through the various ethnic minority villages of Thai people in this area. We will have lunch in a local family, who will be our hosts in a traditional house built on stilts in Pom Coong village. Whilst enjoying their hospitality, we will discover a little more about their lives and culture. Drive back to Hanoi for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Hanoi Departure (B)
This morning is your free time for shopping until the time leaving for the airport for your flight.
