We feel that Clink 78 is a stylish backpacker hostel oozing with character and history and is packed with friendly staff looking to make your stay an enjoyable one. Located in the old Magistrates court on Kings Cross Road, Clink78 is unique in its appearance and is in the perfect position to connect travellers to no less than six tube lines, the national rail network and the Euro Star to Europe.
We believe that Clink 78 has everything a backpacker needs all under one roof. Chillax in our TV courtroom, catch up on your world affairs in our internet courtroom or cook your self up a budget backpacker banquet in our self catering kitchen. Alternatively if you have the cash to splash then youâ€Â™re likely to find your counties home cuisine in one of the many Kings Cross eateries close by.
If excitementâ€Â™s your thing then our small, but perfectly formed, travel shop can send you off on your very own London adventure. When you return, dust your pack off and head down to our famous basement Clashbar for a recap on the days events. Feel free to wash them down with an ice cold beer or glass of wine :)
Please note:
Passport, driver's license or government issued identity card required upon check-in.
â- Guests can check-in until 4am. Guests will only be able to access their room after 2.30pm. A luggage room is available for them to use if they arrive earlier than 2.30pm. Check out time is 10am.
â- Note that all our dorms are mixed unless a girl dorm is booked.
â- Guests that wish to bring their children under 16 years of age must book whole dorms or private rooms.
â- Bookings cannot be accepted from any underage person unless they are accompanied by an adult over 18. They will be refused check-in.
â- When booking dorm beds in dorm rooms, we cannot guarantee that you will all be staying in the same room. We suggest booking private rooms if you don't want your clients to be split.
â- If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact us by email only at least 48 hours before arrival. Failure to do so, will result in you credit card to be charged for the first night accommodation. Please note that the deposit paid to this website is not refundable.
â- In the event of Force Majeure (governmental action; fire; flood; insurrection; earthquake; power failure; riot; explosion; embargo, transportation interruption of any kind; terrorist attack; acts of Godâ€Â¦ ) affecting your booking, the company reserves the right to receive any outstanding payments in connection to your confirmed booking.
Passfield could not be better located, it has great access to several of London's railway stations, excellent tube and bus access. Many of London's most famous sights are on the doorstep!
AIRPORTS:
From Gatwick; take the Gatwick express to London Victoria Station. From Victoria station take the underground (Victoria line) to Euston Station.
From Heathrow; the easiest way to reach Passfield Hall is by the tube. Take the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Russell Square station. If you prefer you can get the airbus (A2) which stops at Euston Station.
Taxi's from Heathrow to Passfield cost approximately £35.00
From Stansted; the best way to get to central London is with the Stansted Express train from Liverpool Street station, you can take the Hammersmith and City, Circle and Metropolitan lines to Euston Square station.
From Luton; take the Thameslink service to St. Pancras and then take bus 59, get off on Woburn Place.
MAINLINE RAIL STATIONS (including Eurostar and Victoria Coach Station):
Waterloo: Take the Northern line to Euston Station or for a cheaper option with better views catch one of the many busses heading for Euston.
Euston: Passfield is a two minute walk - leave the station, cross Euston Road and head down Upper Woburn Place. Turn right at Tavistock Square. Endsleigh Place is off the north west corner of the square. Passfield occupies the whole of Endsliegh Place.
Kings Cross / St. Pancras (Eurostar): Passfield is a 10 minute walk, head west along Euston Road to Euston Station. Cross Euston Road at Upper Woburn Place and walk south along this road. Turn right at Tavistock Square. Endsleigh Place is off the north west corner of the square. Passfield occupies the whole of Endsliegh Place.
Paddington: Take the Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitian line to Euston Square.
Victoria (inc. Victoria Coach Station): Take the Victoria line to Euston Station.
LOCAL UNDERGROUND STATIONS:
Euston (Nothern and Victoria lines): Leave the station, cross Euston Road and head down Upper Woburn Place. Turn right at Tavistock Square. Endsleigh Place is off the north west corner of the square. Passfield occupies the whole of Endsleigh Place.
Russell Square (Piccadilly line): Turn out of the station, turn right and walk up Woburn Place to Tavistock Square. Endsleigh Place is off the north west corner of the square. Passfield occupies the whole of Endsleigh Place.
Euston Square (Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitian line): Come out of the southern exit of the station, turn right and immediately right onto Gower Place, continue along, crossing Gordon Street into Endsleigh Gardens. At Endsleigh Street turn right. Endsleigh Place is then on your right. The hall is located on the right hand side.
