Hostel YMCA is situated in the citycentre of Banska Bystrica, in that beautiful centralslovakian region full of historical spots and views. Take a new breath by walking in amazing woods and pick up mushrooms there or steel blueberries to bears. Enjoy skiing in nearby skiingslopes in wintertime and then ... jump into the close hot spas. There are few of them that you can choose from. And if you are not a sporty type, doesn´t matter. Have a fun in the city pubs, shopping centers, museums or galleries.

Coming by train/bus: daily connections from all big Slovak towns. You could also find very convenient connections from Prague, Vienna and Budapest.
Coming by car: take E77 road and follow direction to 'Strieborne namestie (square)'. Park your car there. Walk 150m up to the pedestrian zone and you will get to Lazovna street. Our YMCA hostel is located in Lazovna street 17.
Local buses: take buses no. 35 or 36 from main railway/bus station and get off at square 'Strieborne namestie'. Walk 150m on pedestrian zone to hostel on Lazovna 17 street.
Walking: get the main square (Námestie SNP)and turn to street 'Lazovna ulica'. Walk 200m and you are in the hostel on Lazovna 17.
