Hakuba Ski Season :The season usually starts November 1 and lasts through the Golden Week Holiday at the beginning of May.
Hakuba Goryu and Hakuba 47 are skiing resorts famous for the quality of snow, one of the best in Hakuba area. With 2 eight-seat gondolas, 17 chairlifts, 23 courses altogether, the excellent snow and grooms attract many skiers and snowboarders. There are also children's courses for families to play safely in the snow.
In-house Onsen is available 24 hours (hot-springs bath).
Tokyo - Nagano by JR Shinkansen
Nagano - Hakuba Goryu by Bus or JR Express Train
After geting off Nagano sta,please go out the ticket wicket then turn left for 'Higasiguti'Go down the stairs,and you will find the small rotary.
The bus for Hakuba leave at #6 bus stop,the end of the rotary.
You should get off Hakuba Goryu Bus stop.
Free Pick Up Service is available
( 8:00-20:00 ) from JR Kamishiro sta or Hakuba Goryu bus stop.
There are also regular direct buses from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo to Hakuba Goryu Bus stop. The bus takes around 4 hours, cost about 4700 yen, though require a booking via phone or at the Shinjuku west bus terminal.
