Unplugged Hostel is located in the heart of Pocitos, one of the nicest and safest neighborhoods of Montevideo, just a few blocks away from the beach where you can sunbath and swim in the summer or walk or ride a bike in the winter.
This quiet and friendly neighborhood has plenty of stores, restaurants and pubs within a walking distance. The main two Shopping Malls of the city, museums, markets and parks are a few minutes away from the hostel.
The hostel is in an old house built in 1921 that has been restored in 2007. It has spacious and very bright rooms, including: a playroom and common area with TV Cable and DVD, a well equipped kitchen, a front yard and a bar to listen to good music and enjoy great drinks. We also have a BBQ where you can be delighted by our special �asados�.
We offer several services such as Wifi (free of charge) all around the hostel, bikes rental, city tours and daily activities. Also, an important thing to remark is that we count with hot water 24/7, housekeeping, laundry service and 24hs reception.
It is very easy to get here, either by bus, walking or taxi. Public transportation is available to get to all touristic and interest places.

The hostel is in Luis de la Torre street, located just at the middle side of the block, where you will see some chairs and umbrellas, which belong to Unplugged's bar.
From Tres Cruces bus station
Go to Bulevar Artigas' bus stop (coming out through the main door) take the bus number 183 to Pocitos and get off in Bulevar España and Enrique Muñoz Street (before the 'ombú tree'). Walk along Bulevar España in direction to the "ombú tree" till you reach Luis de la Torre street then turn right.

Take the DMI bus to Punta Carretas and get off in José Ellauri and 26 de Marzo Street. Walk to Bulevar España and turn right, walk in direction to the ombú tree along Bulevar España till you reach Luis De La Torre Street and turn left. Walk half block and you will see the Hostel.
