Sarangkot Hiking

At an altitude of 1592m. this mountain sits north of Pokhara overlooking the valley and Fewa Lake. Just a short scenic hike through small villages and jungle from the main tourist area of Pokhara, or a 45 minute taxi ride. Sarangkot is a beautiful village best known for its sunrise, where on a clear day you can see an unobstructed view of the Himalayan mountains of Annapurna range, Dhauligiri range, Fishtail.

Another main attraction to Sarangkot is to spend an hour in the sky paragliding with fantastic views of the mountains and the city below. To experience true Nepali culture take a 3 hour tour around Sarangkot and meet the locals and see how they live. Sarangkot has many guest houses and hotels and local shops to supply you for all your needs.

Day 01:
Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Free day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley such as Boudha Nath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar Square (B)
Day 03: 7hrs drive or 30 minutes flight to Pokhara. (B)
Day 04: Hike to Sarangkot from Pokhara 4½ hours stay at Sarangkot.(B.L.D)
Day 05: Early in the morning see the sunrise and panorama view of Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri Range, Fishtail and many other mountain and having breakfast hike back to Pokhara.(B.L)
Day 06: 7 hrs drive or 30 minutes flight back to Kathmandu. (B)
Day 07: Final departure to the airport for your own destination. (B)
