Penke Panke Lodge is the best value lodge in Hakuba conveniently located next to the Sakka High speed quad at Happoone the biggest ski resort in Hakuba.
The lodge has large living areas with plenty of spaces to relax and mingle with the like minded ski enthusiasts from around the world. All rooms are very large and have lounges and televisions. Penke Panke Lodge is in the heart of it all, walk to the lifts, bars and restaurants.
Every night we take guests on outings including a different Onsen (Natural Hot spring) every night as well as trips to the supermarket for those wanting to self cater and take advantage of the large communal kitchen.

Getting to Penke Panke Lodge from Nagano using public transport
At Nagano station, go to the east exit and find bus stop #6 Catch the Alpico bus to Hakuba destinations leaves every hour to hour and half from 8:20 to 20:30 - Friday night the last bus is 21:20 and costs 1400 yen. You can purchase your ticket from the store at the bottom of the East stairs beside the bus terminal. Please remember that the last departing bus to Hakuba from Nagano station is at 20:20 - and 21:20 on Friday you have limited train options to Hakuba after this time and would be better off staying over night in Nagano.
Getting to Penke Panke Lodge by Car.
On arrival in Hakuba you need to take the Happo turn which is opposite the Hakuba train station and proceed 2km and you will come to a set of lights at Happo Iriguchi there is a Lawson to your right. You will need to turn right at this intersection and proceed 500m and turn left onto Olympic Road where the large Olympic sign is, drive a further 300 meters and turn right at Wadano No Mori and Penke Panke is located towards the top of the hill on the right.
