By plane, train and bus:
If you arrive at Schiphol airport we advise you to take a train to Central Station and then take a Bus. It's easy and cheap. We advise you to buy a ticket at the booth in the central hall and directly buy a public transport ticket there.
Once you get to Central Station we advise you to hop on bus number 43 and get of at Busstop 'Veemarkt" From there it's just a short walk to the Bed&Breakfast boat.
By plane and taxi:
You can also take a taxi from Schiphol airport. Amsterdam taxi's have meters who start running at € 7,50 for the first 2 km and then charge € 2,20 for each kilometer driven. It's about a 24 kilometer drive from Schiphol Airport to the Bed&Breakfast Boat so the taxiride will cost you about € 55 in total.
By plane, train and bike:
Depending on your luggage of course, it is also an option to rent a bike at central station and paddle to the Bed&Breakfast Boat. You can rent a bike at MacBike which is located in the eastern part of the central station building. Rental start of at € 12,50 a day (more days gets much cheaper). From Central station it's about a 10 minute ride to the Bed&Breakfast Boat (it's one straight road). Mac Bike opens from 9 AM -5.30 PM
By car:
The Bed&Breakfast Boat is conveniently located for arrival by cars. Just take exit number 114 (Zeeburg, Artis. Centrum) on the ringroad around Amsterdam. Turn left at the traffic lights. After 500 meters you drive straight into a tunnel. After exiting the tunnel turn left at the traffic lights. After 500 meters you see two red buildings and a bridge in front of you. Turn left before the bridge. You have reached the Bed&Breakfast Boat.
After you have checked in and brought in your luggage you can park your car at the 'Park and Ride' location 'Zeeburg'. This parking is close, cheap and save there and you will get free unlimited public transport tickets for all people in the car.
You can even drop of your car before you come to the Bed&Breakfast Boat. Instead of driving into the tunnel you turn left at the traffic lights before the tunnel entrance. From there take tram 26 and get off at the ' Rietlandpark' tramstop. From there it's a 10 minute walk back to the Bed&Breakfast Boat.
