The historical center has a great cultural diversity, with this in our mind, the fusion cultural center has a new proposal when it comes to accommodation of people.
The guesthouse has 2 floors.
On the ground floor there are:
- 2 toilets
- A large backyard, often used as party area
- 6 shared showers located in the backyard
On the first floor there is a collective kitchen. You can cook independently or in group. The kitchen open at 10:00 and closes at 15:00 for breakfast and lunch. Then it opens at 21:00 and shuts at 23:00.
Moreover, the first floor is working as a common area for several cultural activities such as capoeira, afro colombian dance, afro colombian percussion workshop and also maracatu.
These activities are outside the price paid for hosting, however, guests interested in such activities, has the advantage of reducing the cost of these workshops that can be daily or monthly, depending on availability and period of staying.
Capoeira takes place three times a week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Colombian african percussion and dance, Mondays and Wednesdays.
maracatu on Saturdays.
On the second floor there are the accommodations:
- 8 Girly bedroom with cabinets (it is necessary to have your own lock) sheets available.
- Room with 8 places for gentlmen with cabinets (it is necessary to have your own padlock).
- 8 mixed dorm with cabinets (also it is necessary to have your own padlock).
- 2 private room.

If you book between December 15th and March 15th you will be charged 50% in advance in order to secure your booking (non refundable), you may be contacted by the property requesting the CVV code of the credit card used for this booking or asked for a deposit.
This also applies if your booking is during a national holiday, New Year&s eve or Carnival.
From the Bus Station:
cross the pedestrian footbridge from the Bus Station to Iguatemi mall and take the 'executivo' bus to Praça da Sé at the bus stop outside Iguatemi mall. Get off at the last bus stop and walk to Se' square, on the right of the 'Zumbi' statue you can find number 9 of the Bispo street where is located our guesthouse. You can follow the map up to the Hostel.
From the Airport:
take the Airport-Praça da Sé 'executivo' bus, get off at the last bus stop and walk to to Se' square. When you arrive in front of the 'Zumbi' statue you can turn on your right and take Rua do Bispo. Our guesthouse is located at number 9. You can follow the map up to the Hostel.
If you arrive at the airport after 7 p.m., it is advisable to take a cab.
The best thing to do is to ask to the taxi driver to call us.
In this way we can inform the taxi driver about where exactly we can meet up.
In general the meeting point is at the - praca da Se' ( Se' square) - in the historical centre, Pelourinho, few meters from our guesthouse...
In the middle of the square there is always a police car...
