Hotel Diar El Barbar is a four star hotel, the only one in the region of Gabes, located in Matmata, Troglodyte famous tourist city and crossroad of the great roads of southern Tunisia. Its unique architecture (reconstructed cave hotel) makes it one of the most famous hotels in Tunisia.
165 standard rooms and suites 4 stars, entrance, restaurants and all-gray marble stairways Italian; 2 buffet restaurants with 200 seats each. A 80-seat gourmet restaurant with outdoor terrace by the pool with 150 seats.
A Moorish cafi . Four large courtyards are containing rooms on 3 floors, connected by underground passages. Hotel has large pool overlooking the surrounding desert mountains. There is a terrace of 400 m2 for receptions or parties with a la carte. Hotel has 250 m2 of conference room. Hotel has also area show under Berber tents with 250 seats.
