The cabin is located just minutes from the famous Nantahala River and the Beautiful Lake Nantahala. You can spend you day Rafting or you may want to rent a Pontoon for the day for a little relaxing on the Lake. There are several hiking trails near the cabin, including Bartam Trail and the Appalachian Trail. If biking is one of you interest, you would enjoy visiting Tsali Bike Trail that is maintained by US Forest Service. Motor cyclist enjoy a trip across Wayah Rd, which has become known as Thunder Road because of it's winding curves. Wayah Bald is also located at the top of the Mountain, up upon the Bald you can view 4 different states, wth a three dimentional view of the mountians with a elevation of 5280 ft. There is always something to do at Rushing Creek Mt. Cabin, weather you spend the day fishing in front of the cabin or just enjoy relaxing in the hot tub, so grab you toothbrush and come on over.

The cabin lies on a Beautiful Mountain Stream that is full of Native Rainbow Trout. The cabin is fully furnished with all amentities. There is a stainless steel gas grill for dining and a long covered porch for admiring the beauty of the stream. The hot tub lies in back of the cabin just off of the master bed and bath. The bedroom furniture and well as other items of the cabin are custom built. The kitchen/Great Room is very open with cathedral ceilings. The bedrooms are very spacious and the master bath has jetting walk-in shower. There is also a loft with a sleeper sofa that overlooks on the great room.

We have a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator with ice maker, coffee pot, blender for making you favorite drinks, and a dishwasher, as well as a stainless steel gas grill. There is a fireplace in the living area, as well as a flat screen tv mounted on the floor to ceiling stone fireplace, with a VCR. We also offer free long distance calling and wireless internet service. In back of the cabin lies a 5-6 person jetted hot tub. All sheet/towels are also provided, all we ask you to bring is your toothbrush!
