Hostel Haruya Aqua

Hostel HARUYA Aqua is located in 8 minutes from Kyoto station. The 100years old typical architecture of Japanese traditional townhouse. We renovated it for the vision 'Discover Japan Experience'

Numerous famous temples, shrines, main shopping areas,and Geisha district called Gion are on the one way access. Since it is easy to access JR Kyoto station, you can easily make day trips to Nara and Osaka.

We wish to offer travelers an opportunity to meet Japanese culture, exchange cultural experiences and understand each other. Friendly English speaking staffs are there with up-to-date local travel information.

Directions

*By bus - (8min, 220yen )
Take The Kyoto City bus #205 (at B3 platform) and get off at 'Nanajo Omiya / KYOTO AQUARIUM', the third stop from Kyoto station. Walk back to a main intersection(DON'T cross), turn right at a small corner behind it, and walk for 10meters. You will soon see a corner on the right. The hostel is located in the corner. The front desk is
in the building with a big sign, a navy blue shop curtain on your left.

-Please visit the Bus ticket center at Kyoto station to buy a City Bus All-day Pass (500yen). If you take more than 3 times a day, we recommend that you buy a All-day Bus Pass.
-The most famous bakery in Kyoto 'Shin Shin Do' is in the same Bus ticket center building. Get the bread for the breakfast. Open: 6:30〜20:00

*By taxi- (10min, 1000yen)
Tell a driver 'Nanajo Omiya bus stop'. It costs about 1000yen from Kyoto station. It takes 10minutes. Please refer the above directions from Nanajo Omiya bus stop to Hostel HARUYA Aqua.
