Public Transport:
From the airport take the bus to Queenstown Town Centre. Once you hop off the bus onto Camp Street, turn left onto Shotover Street (the main street through Queenstown). Continue straight until the road bends round to the right and becomes Lake Esplanade. Walk alongside the lake a few hundred metres and you will see Lakeside Backpackers on the right hand side.
(The same applies if you have arrived by another mode of public transport though getting onto Shotover Street will vary depending on where you are dropped off. It will almost always be a central locaion.)
Driving from the airport:
Head southeast onto Frankton Rd/State Highway 6A signposted Queenstown. Continue to follow signs to the Town Centre. Continue straight along Shotover Street (the main street through Queenstown) until the road bends round to the right and becomes Lake Esplanade. A few hundred metres along the lake you will see Lakeside Backpackers on the right hand side.
