Garapuvu Hostel is a large house with high ceiling, hammocks, TV room, lounge and pool area. On its yard you can enjoy a barbecue area, swimming pool and plenty of shade under our trees, including the one which the hostel is named after, the Garapuvu.
Inside the house there are seven bedrooms, 2 of them are suite, and one of them is girls only. There is also a girls only bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, all utensils and laundry area, where you can hang your wet stuff.
If you have to cancel your booking, you must do it at least 48hrs before arrival.

Depending of the period of your booking you will be charged 50% in advance in order to secure your booking (non refundable), you may be contacted by the property requesting the CVV code of the credit card used for this booking or asked for a deposit.

Garapuvu is located about 800 m from Joaquina beach, there are bus stops, bakeries, pizza places, chemists, cafés and trails, all within a short walking distance.

BY BUS: go to Centro Bus Terminal, once there you get the bus #320 or #330 to Lagoa da Conceição Bus Terminal, once you are there you get the bus #843 to Porto da Lagoa, Garapuvu is at Osni Ortiga 3010.

To get to Garapuvu by car from the main highway BR101 - 18km
BY CAR: From the bridge to the hostel it is about a 20 km drive, you get via Avenida Beira Mar and follow the signs to Lagoa da Conceição.
To get to Garapuvu by bus from the main bus terminal Santa Rita:
From Santa Rita Bus Terminal you go to Centro Bus Terminal. Once you are there, get the bus #320 or #330 to Lagoa da Conceição Bus Terminal. Once you are there you catch the #843 to Porto da Lagoa, Garapuvu is at Osni Ortiga 3010. We are a few meters away from Joaquina beach and real close to the lagoon, where you can go for bike rides, stand up paddle, windsurfing, kit surfing or just enjoy the view. By car or by bus you can get to Praia Mole, Barra da Lagoa, Campeche and Moçambique and all around the place, getting the chance to explore the island.
