Ferry Beach Park Association is a retreat and conference center on the coast of southern maine. We are 30 minutes south of Portland, ME, and 90 minutes north of Boston, MA. Wake up near the ocean and fill the day with however you see fit; there is plenty to do on campus and the rest of Maine is your playground. There are many nearby places for fun family activities, including water parks, miniature golf, a drive-in movie theater, Old Orchard Beach’s pier and amusement park, sightseeing, eating, and shopping in historic downtown Portland, and a variety of restaurants all around. Nearby bike and hiking trails are a great way to explore the area’s natural beauty!
RV Park
Camping in the Grove features dozens of sites for tent and RV camping, offering the unique opportunity to sleep in our campsite among the pines near the ocean. Amenities include:
- Electricity and water at camp sites
- 30 amp hookups for RV camping
- Two washhouses (6 large showers)
- Laundry (fee)
- Tent platforms available
- Community fire pit (fires not permitted at individual campsites)
- Access to Ferry Beach’s private beach and campus
- Ferry Beach’s meditative memorial garden, peaceful outdoor chapel, and rustic gathering space, Rose Pavilion.

Our campsite is considered “primitive,” as we do not have septic hook-ups, nor do we
have a pumping station.
Rooms/Cabins
Ferry Beach offers several types of lodging on our beautiful campus. Our dormitory buildings, Quillen, Rowland, and Underwood Halls sleep 1-4 people per room, many offering ocean views. We also have private and semi-private lodging in the Metz Village Cabins, Morris Cottage, oceanfront Claflin Cottage and our newly renovated Cross Cottage with private accessible bedrooms and bathrooms.
