The Great New Zealand Trek is a unique event traversing the length of New Zealand raising funds for Multiple Sclerosis. It is suitable for all ages. Distances trekked each day vary from 25 to 35 kms. The route is well marked so you can travel at your own pace enabling everyone to spread out. Support is given on route with quad bike marshalls and marshalls on horseback

Your typical day starts at 6.30 am with a scrumptious breakfast. Once you have packed your tent and belongings on one of the luggage trucks you will set off around 8.00am following a well marked route. There is a lunch stop about half way where you can eat your lunch that you packed that morning and make yourself a refreshing cup of tea/coffee or just enjoy a cold one! Once you arrive at the next campsite you will put your tent up then hang out at the bar for a well deserved coldy before devouring a gourmet dinner at 6.30pm. Then of course there are the hot showers that will give you a massage at the same time.
