"Was an attractive new home, set on a winding street, in a development that could as well have been in Houston as Houma. If momentarily disappointed by the lack of expected Cajun scenery, I was soon overvhelmed by the Cajun hospitality of my hosts, Sally and Leland Crochet."
A surbaban home approximately 25 years old, built in the middle of old cane fiedls. The original plantation home is still standing near by and is a Museum. In the back yard is a cane syrup kettle. Just a few plants of Sugar cane growing. Sit back on one of the old swings or hammocks and just relax watching the birds and squirrel at play.

until you reach 310 exit Lulling - Boutee travel until you reach Hwy 90 exit go right about 1 hour there are 4 exits to Houma the first is Hwy 182, the Next is Hwy 316 then Hwy 24 then Hwy 311 (The last 2 exits will take you directly to St. Charles St. which is approximately 15 min. turn right on St. Charles St. until you reach Valhi St. turn left about 2 blocks you will get to Summerfield Drive turn right go 2 blocks the home is on the third block the last one on the left.
