Forsaela Apartments and Houses is centrally located, in Grettisgata street that runs parallel to Laugavegur, main shopping street. Walking distance to all sites of major cultural interest. Just around the corner you will find grocery stores, bakeries, gourmet shops and design boutiques. Theatres, restaurants and bars, the Hallgrimkirkja church, the Harpa concert-hall, geothermal swimming pools, hiking and biking paths.
Accommodations
The houses and the surrounding private garden with patios and green spaces have undergone major restoration by the owners themselves.The three traditional tin clad wooden houses are all from around 1900 and have been tastefully renovated combining the atmosphere of the past with modern comfort. Original wooden floors and art works by one of Iceland's finest graphic artists.

Alvidra House: The two story house. On the main floor is a well equipped kitchen, a dining room with antique furniture and one double room. On the second floor are two triple rooms and a toilet bathroom with a shower and a tub. Every room has a hand washbasin. Sleeps max 8 people.
Apartment house: The three apartment house. Each apartment has one bedroom with twin single / double bed. A sitting room with double sofa bed, flat screen TV. A well equipped kitchen with a dining table and 4 chairs. A toilet bathroom with a shower. A washing machine / laundry service. Sleeps max 2-4 people. Little house / cottage sleeps 4-6 pople.
