Located 40 minutes East of Sacramento. We offer flights above The American River Valley and historic Coloma. Unlike most ballooning locations where flying over sprawling fields is the order of the day, we offer a true adventure. Skimming big trees with the basket, dropping into the river for a little Whitewater Ballooning (yes, right in the water) is the order of our day!
Unlike most balloon companies we do not put six to ten people in a giant basket. We limit our baskets to four passengers at a time. This allows for a more personal experience. We pride ourselves on a quality experience for our passengers. We are not interested in being the biggest operator in the business, just the best.
Typical Day
We meet just before sunrise. The flight starts at sunrise and lasts approximately one hour. The flight is followed by a speedy retrieval and drive back to our launch site for a Champagne toast and gourmet French breakfast. After breakfast you will be given on official "Aeronauts" certificate with a photo of your flight.
Expect the entire adventure to last approximately three to four hours.
Age range, type of group
Ballooning is for people of all ages! However, we do no recommend bringing children under five years of age. The noise and ten foot flame of the burner tends to upset younger children. It is also very loud for young ears.
Sleeping and meals
The area has many B&B's there are also some inexpensive hotels available approximately 30 minutes from our launch site. Contact us for a recommendation.
Restrictions
Cell phones are not permitted to be on during flight. They do not interfere with any of our flight instruments. We just don't like disturbing the tranquility of the flight. No smoking in or near the balloon.
Rates
Rates start at $175.00 per person for groups of four.
Other Information
We offer unique advertising solutions for businesses as well as tethered balloons for events. We can fly up to 48 passengers an hour during a tether flight. Contact us for more information.

Unlike your typical “romantic” flight, where the pilot tries to been seen or heard as little as possible, group rides are all about having fun. The pilot is full of good flying stories, jokes and is there to have a good time with the balloon riders.
This hot air balloon flight is tailored to the desires of our passengers and can be anything from very relaxing to quite exciting. Just tell your pilot what kind of experience you are looking for and he will do his best to provide the kind of flight you want. The Flight is followed with a French Champagne toast!
Expect the balloon ride and post-flight picnic to last three to four hours. Upon occasion we do run late. Please let us know of any potential scheduling conflicts before the flight. We will do our best to get you back on time.
