Located in the village of Canggu, Ombak Bagus Homestay is an ideal place for exploring the nearby surf spots of Canggu, Tugu, Brawa and Pererenan. Situated in a rural and quiet setting it offers a taste of everyday Balinese village life. You can reach several great surf spots within a 10 minutes drive. If you want to go shopping or clubbing, the busy tourist areas of Kuta and Legian are only a 20-30 minutes drive away. Also one of Bali's most photographed sites, the temple of Tanah Lot is close by, here you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. So if you are looking for a place from which to explore the surfspots of Bali's westcoast, or just to spend some quiet, relaxing time, come stay at Ombak Bagus Homestay!
We offer the following facilities: 3 rooms: 1 double room, Villa with two double rooms and 1 dorm (for 4 people). All rooms have 1 shared bathroom with cold water, as well as an outside seating area. The Homestay got a outside shower. The Villa got two double rooms and got its own pool. Also it got a kitchen and private lounge area. View from the bed straight on the rice paddies!!!
A basic breakfast is included in the roomrate (coffee/tea, jaffle or toast with jam/cheese). Cheap hot and cold drinks are available.
We offer surf lessons, surftrips, cultural tours & activities. You can rent motorbikes, pushbikes and surfboards at our homestay.
Internet we can provide. It will cost 15.000 Rp for a day and you have to take it for the whole stay.
Please note that we are located 4 km from the beach (not really walking distance in the Balinese climate). Facilities that are at walking distance from our homestay include small local warungs to eat and some mini markets. If you want to go to the beach, internet, etc we advise you to have your own transport, i.e. a rented motorbike or car. Otherwise taxi's are available on call.

To get to Ombak Bagus Homestay from the south (Kuta) and east (Denpasar), follow the road and signs to Tanah Lot. When you get to Canggu (Jalan Raya Canggu), there is a red sign to the left to Tugu Bali (hotel Tugu). Here you turn right into Jl. Pipitansari. From here, there are signs to guide you. Go for 1.5 km and after the church you turn left into Jl Uma Duwi, a small dust road. Then you take the first street to the left, and the first turn to the right. This street is called Jalan Uma Sari. The homestay is the last house on the right side. If you have trouble finding us, you can call us and we will come to pick you up.
Unfortunately there is no public transport to Ombak Bagus.
We are 30 minutes drive from Kuta.
If you want airport pick up please email us your flight number, arrival time, and city from which you are leaving, in advance. We will then arange the transport for you for Rp 150.000. Please call us if you have a delay or if you not coming at all. If you don't cancel we have to charge you Rp 50.000 extra, if we can't inform our driver in time.
