Chiusi, in itself, is a nice little village in Central Italy, with an important Etruscan Museum; within roughly one hour travel time, a tourist may visit almost anything between Rome and Florence. By train Rome and Florence, by car to Arezzo, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Mount Amiata, the Orcia valley, the Casentino, Val Tiberina, Todi, Deruta, Spello, Bevagna, Montefalco, Civita di Bagno Regio, lake Trasimeno, Città della Pieve.

Accommodations

Hotel La Querce is located in a Tuscan farmhouse nestled in the hilly area between Tuscany and Umbria. Built in several periods starting in the 18th century, and surrounded by a small flowered garden, it was refurbished and transformed into a hotel in 1993. Modern features are beautifully blended in the untouched traditional architecture where wood and brick remind our guests of the rural origins of the building.

Rooms/Suites

Hotel La Querce has 11 rooms (8 doubles and 3 singles), tastefully decorated all with bathroom (shower) telephone, fridge and central heating.
Because the building used to be a farmhouse, the larger rooms, once occupied by the owners, are in the front side whereas the back ones are a bit smaller. Triple rooms are available on request: a third bed may be added in some rooms, but not in all. The budget rooms, which are smaller, cannot have any extra beds added.

Amenities

Gourmet restaurant with traditional Tuscan cuisine. It features traditional Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine; when in season we serve dishes based on wild mushrooms, truffles and game. Prestigeous wine cellar.
Wine bar; wine tasting sessions are periodically organized. Outside garden with a sunbathing area (summer only).

All the above rates are per day, per room (excepting the supplements which are per person) and are inclusive of breakfast in the morning and all taxes.
