Galveston, Texas Bed & Breakfasts
Surrounding Area
Located with Galveston's richest collection of 19th century homes, The Garden
inn is, architecturally, one of the most singular in the East End Historic District. The 1887 H. S. Mather home was originally identified as a High Vichorian Chalet.
Accommodations
The home has been thoughtfully restored to retain the grace of its past, with the creature-comforts of the present. The sensitive restoration included the original Dutch entry doors, fireplaces, pocket doors, stained glass and stairwell newel post.
Rooms/Suites
The Rose room is the perfect retreat, complete with Rococo queen size bed, Rococo armoire, sitting area, private bathroom, ceiling fan and private balcony.
