Sunscape is 5 minutes from golf, shopping, Gold's Gym, Hardrock Cafe, horseback riding, and Magen's Bay beach. St. Thomas features outstanding restaurants, sailing, sportfishing, SCUBA lessons and dive tours. We overlook Charlotte Amalie harbor and town. Guests watch the incredible cruise ships (up to 12 per day), seaplanes and ferries plying the waters. 10 minutes from the airport; 15 minutes from Red Hook ferry to St. John and BVI.

Vacation Rental Property

Solid concrete, Mediterranean influence, with great room/kitchen on the main level. Built in 1998 and designed as rental villa: you don't have to tiptoe around the owners' private effects. Good closet space, laundry room, generator for power outages. Price includes one weekly visit from maid and pool man. Extensive landscaping. Outdoor dining table on covered gallery; chairs, tables and chaise lounges on pool deck. Indoor dining table in Great Room.

Master BR 3 steps above Great Room features king sized "4 poster" bed. Enclosed outdoor shower. Opens onto concrete inground swimming pool. Downstairs, 2 BR, each with private bath and balcony. One is king, the other can be king or twin. Bedrooms airconditioned individually.

Cable TV and VCR, CD player.
Gourmet kitchen. We furnish all bed, bath, table linens. We have beach towels.Telescope, binoculars. small safe for passport etc. Excellent security and privacy. Multiple phone lines and web access are available. A great place to telecommute from for a couple of weeks!

Policies & Restrictions

Swimming pool and steep site require parental judgement for small children. Although the dining deck and great room are level with the driveway, you can't get to bed without going up at least 3 stairs, so wheelchair access is marginal. But we will work with you whatever your special requirements.

Rates & Availability

Rates are based on number of guests and time of year. Honeymoon special is $1500 per week for two in the Summer (cooler here than Florida). High rate is $4250 for 6 guests in season. Call us for specific rates and availability.

Directions

From the airport, drive along the waterfront, past Fort Christian. Turn left at the stoplight by the Fort Parking Lot. Drive through one stoplight, then 3 blocks to a stop sign by Lincoln School. Turn left uphill and drive all the way to the top where you will see the Louisenhoj gatehouse and a sign for Valedmar Hill, Sr. scenic drive. Turn right. Drive past the scenic overlook about 150 yards to green mile marker 4.5 (it's on the left because you're driving on the left). Turn right, amid the potted palms and bouganvillia into the driveway of the big white house. Drive all the way to the bottom (two switchbacks). Villa Sunscape is on your right, and caretaker's cottage is on left.
