Early modern home (built in 1938) with large rooms, central air conditioning, individually controlled heating. Where relaxation and tranquility are the first order of business. All rooms have private entrance, private bath, color-cable TV, sun deck overlooking Chincoteague Bay with spectacular sunset views. All rooms also have coffee-pots, small refrigerator, wine glasses, other amenities. White Room: king-size bed, love seat, spacious room with two closets. Sunset Room: queen-size bed; Egret Room: 2 full beds, kitchenette. The Haven: 2-bedroom suite (queen-size bed and two twin beds) with full kitchen, living/dining room, and sunporch.

Restrictions

No pets, no smoking indoors. Children welcome, but no children under 8 in rooms with sundecks. We welcome everyone and will try our best to accommodate your special needs to make your stay memorable.

Open year-round.
White Room: $99-$139/night, double occupancy ($10/night per additional person) breakfast included.
Sunset Room: $85-$109/night, double occupancy ($10/night per additional person) breakfast included.
Egret Room: $99-$129/night, double occupancy ($10/night per additional person) breakfast included.
The Haven: $125-$165/night, four persons ($10/night per additional person) breakfast optional for $10/person.

Reservations not required but welcome.
Reservations guaranteed with 50% deposit, gladly refunded (minus a $25 processing fee) if reservation is canceled at least one week in advance. Two-night minimum on weekends, 3-night minimum holiday weekends, 5-night minimum for Pony Penning Week (last week in July).

U.S. 13 north from Norfolk, VA, or south from the Wilmington, DE, area, to 4 miles south of the VA-MD state line. East on VA Rt. 175 to Chincoteague Island (11 miles). Right (south) on Main Street 8/10ths of a mile to Year of the Horse Inn, on your right at 3583 Main Street.
