Arrangements can be made to use the kitchen for preparation of other meals, or to use the gas barbecue as well.
Iron and ironing aboard, sewing kits,fax machine, telephone,and most anything you may have forgotten, can be provided.
We enjoy helping in special celebrations-we've done anniversaries,honeymoons,birthdays, and we'd love to help with yours.

Smoking is only possible outside the house.
We cater specifically to adults, but please enquire about travelling with children-although we do not have the facillities to accomodate infants or toddlers, we will try to accomodate your family if we have enough notice .
Please let us know if you have any special requirements or food allergies at time of booking, so that we may assure a comfortable, healthy stay. We can easily accomodate mobility impaired guest, as, although
our premises are not wheel-chair accessible, one guest room (Garden room),the dining room, guest great-room, deck and garden are all only one or two steps up/down.

We are open 365 days a year, so take advantage of our location for fall colour tours, spring fishing festivals, ice-fishing derbies and skiing or snowmobiling, as well as summer cruising and hiking or motor touring.Orillia is beautiful this time of year-anytime of year!

A historic house, summer home to one of Canada's original railway 'barons', this grand Victorian home is
set on acres of property, boasts a games room, a sculpture garden and antiques of all kinds in their apropriate settings. Enjoy the Scott's hospitality, which includes a full home-cooked breakfast, followed by a tour of the home to discover its history.The area is known to bird-watchers and naturalists, and is fascinating to tour by foot,
bike, boat or car.
