Located midway between Vail and Aspen, Glenwood Springs offers the world famous Hot Springs
Pool, vapor caves, and a beautiful mountainous setting. There is biking, hiking, skiing, rafting, fishing, golf, horse
back riding, and tons of other outdoor activities. Photo opportunities abound.
Walking distance to downtown, AMTRAK station, Hot Springs Pool
Offer free rides with tram(Glenwoods newest atraction) to Fairy Caves (weekdays only).

Accommodations

Guests are invited to enjoy the living room to relax, read or watch TV. The huge wrap around porch has a number of chairs, a table and of course the swing for your relaxation and to watch the soothing sunsets over the red mountains. Located just 2 blocks from the foothills, one just might see deer visiting the yard while they are relaxing in the swing on a warm summer evening.

Rooms/Suites

All 3 rooms are spacious, furnished in antique decor, have queen beds, sitting areas, and private baths. Rooms also have ceiling fans and are air conditioned in summer. The Rose room is our most desired,romantic room for honneymooners or anniveraries.Our Columbine room has a additional single bed/couch so will accommodate a third person or will accommodate persons who require a 2nd bed. Our Aspen room has an additional queen-size futon, which will accomodate two additional persons in the room. For each additional person in room please add $15

Amenities

We offer complementary bicycles to our guests, and in wintertime complementary snowshoes and a private outdoor hot tub. The b&b is located just 4 blocks from downtown where a number of restaurants are located, all within walking distance. Athlete clubs and Hot Springs Pool, massage centra are also within walking distance.
During weekdays we can offer you a complementary ride with the new tramway to the Glenwood Caverns, Fairy Caves and restaurant (4 person per day maximum,please). Please ask Carol or Peter.

The Lavender and Thyme bed and breakfast is non-smoking. We offer smoking possibilities on our large wrap-around porch.
We can not accommodate pets;
We accommodate children only over the age of 15.
No wheelchair access.

Rates & Availability

To make your skiing (Sunlight, Vail, Aspen, Snowmass) attractive, all rooms are $85 per night, double accommodations for weekdays (Mo-Thu) and $ 95 in weekends.
In Summer season (Memorial Day to Mid October) weekday rates are $95, weekends $110
Extra charge of $15.00 for extra person in room.

Directions

Exit I-70 at 116 and follow the signs to Glenwood/Aspen. Cross the Grand Avenue Bridge (Colorado River), then turn left at the stop light (8th Street). Drive 4 blocks east on 8th to Palmer Avenue. The Lavender Swing in just in front of you to the right.
