Highland Aerosports offers tandem hang gliding lessons, solo aerotows, and equipment sales and service. We can take you to 2.500 ft, one mile (5,283 ft.), and 10,000 ft. No experience necessary. Starting at
$130 per night
Highland Aerosports can have even the beginner in the air within minutes of arriving for the first lesson. Fly up to 2,500 feet, 1 mile, or 10,000 feet high with a certified hang gliding instructor at your side. There is no experience necessary, and no running involved. Group rates are available.
An introductory lesson involves about 5 minutes of paperwork followed by a short review of the controls. Now relax while your instructor pilots the glider to your chosen altitude. Once altitude is reached, we let you take over the controls and pilot the hang glider back down to about 300 ft. A typical lesson lasts from 10 to 60 minutes, depending on altitude.
