Highlight is the nesting pair of Bald Eagles and the abundant wildlife on this mountainous wilderness lake surrounded by the highest mountains in Maryland. Trips are perfect for beginners and we get you started off right. Come paddling with us and Watch The Eagles Soar. Reservoir shoreline is totally undeveloped, with no houses, power lines or other sign of man (except of course the dam). Some trips include a short but steep and rugged hike to a beautiful overlook. Folks travelling from Washington DC andf Baltimore regions will find it a very doable day trip.
