This campsite is near enough to Patrick's Point that its only a couple of minutes away. The tent campsites are a little close together but the showers are free and warm (most of the time) The elk came by in the morning. They were just wandering aroun ... more

This is the new park out front,new washrooms, the sites have very few trees because the elk came back and ate everything, but the hiking in the valley and up to the Native American Trading site(phenom view of the Lagoons and Pacific.)is really worth ... more

Conveniently located between Patricks Point State Park & Prairie Creek State Parks and close to the Redwood National Forest. We have a wild herd of Roosevelt Elk that reside among us and make rare photo opportunities. Beach access across the street is great for agate hunting
Wake up to the elk outside your door. RV camping in an open grassy meadow great for elk viewing with full hookups.
Cabins sleep 4 to 6 people and have a full kitchen & bath stocked with linens and cookware.
14 miles south the first city in Ca. Trinidad has great food, the Eatery, the pier cafe Saunder shopping center great food and prices at Murphys and Chevron station with great old time real encinada McTacos.

We are pet friendly. Pets need to be watched for their protection as we have a lot of cougars and bears who love to have Elk for dinner, and hawks and eagles who will like those little animals.
