Innkeeper Comment
When we began planning the Alpenhorn, we decided that we wanted to create an inn that included all of the romantic things that we found we liked over the years. We enjoy elegance without formality. We appreciate luxury without stiffness or discomfort. We delight in a generous and cordial atmosphere. And we dislike frou-frou. The result, opened in July 1999, is an inn designed for adults. It is modern, yet consistent with a mountain resort atmosphere.
Signature dish
Cinnamon/egg battered French toast, light and moist on the inside and crispy on the outside, is served smothered in fresh sliced strawberries with homemade, creamy cinnamon syrup and Turkey-maple breakfast sausage.
