Nature lovers feel right at home at Cedar Springs b&b. We are surrounded by numerous lakes, rivers, and mountains. There are walking/snow-shoeing trails in cedar forests. We have a touring kayak for the water lovers. Bike trails and horse trails connect us to Canada and further south.
You can also enjoy several golf courses. (Twin Lakes Village is 1.5 miles away.) Silverwood is 10 miles across the prairie. The Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas are both well-known for their theaters, shopping malls, and craft fairs.
The master bedroom has a king bed, a private roofed deck, a private bath with a 2-seater jetted tub. It also opens onto the large second-story common deck which it shares with 3 other bedrooms that have queen beds.
The three bedrooms with queen beds share the deck and recliners. At night there are no lights to hinder the view of the stars.
The fourth queen bedroom has room to place another queen bed or crib. A patio under a large tree is available to all as is a huge garden with pesticide free vegetables and fruit.
The 8 person hottub under the stars with a view of the prairie and distant mountains is absolutely the best idea we had in a long time!
The large lawn allows room for 150 guests for weddings and celebrations in the summer. In the winter we have accomodated 80 guests at one event.
A barbeque is available for smaller family reunions.
Massages (with or without water therapy) can be arranged.
Pets are not allowed in the house in consideration of guests with allergies. We do have a big barn with pens for sheep and dogs and there are extra pens available. There is also pasture for horses.
No smoking, please.
And only well-behaved children are welcome.
In season rates are $80 for a couple in a queen bedroom and $130 for the master bedroom.
Out of season rates are $60 for queens and $100 for the master. For repeat stays there is a discount.
Idaho tax is 7%.
Unfortunately we do not take credit cards at this time. Checks are fine, cash is better. And we do ask for a 25% deposit to reserve a room.
Cedar Springs B&B is located 10 miles off of I-90, exit 7, on Highway 41.
Details and maps are on my site www.cedarsprings-bb.com.
But for those in a hurry, take exit 7 onto Highway 41. After 8 miles you will come to a light in Rathdrum near MacDonalds. Take a left and go over the railroad overpass. (Do not go straight becaue that is Highway 53.)
Take a right at the next light. You are still on Highway 41. Go north towards Twin Lakes for 1.5 miles. At the 10 mile marker you will see my sign and Sturgeon Road.
Take a left on Sturgeon and drive up the hill about .5 miles. You will see the sign for Cedar Springs over the driveway.
For stays longer than 1 night, or repeated stays, or references, there is a discount.
