from 01.01.2011 the city council of Rome has implemented a TOURIST TAX of €1 per person per night for the first 5 nights. This is to be paid directly to the campsite and is not included in our prices. (children under 10 do not pay the tax)

Camping Tiber has much more to offer than any normal hostel in Rome. We are a true HOLIDAY RESORT, and located only 20 minutes away from the cultural heart of Rome.

Services we offer:
•Free shuttle bus to Prima Porta station every half hour (08.00-23.00)
•Bed linen (included)
•24 hour usage of hot showers and bathrooms (included)
•Washers and Dryers (extra cost)

Onsite we have a Bar/Restaurant/Pizzeria where you can enjoy a wonderful cup of Italian coffee before hitting the sites; tasty typical Italian dishes for lunch and dinner, and traditional Italian pizza. There is also a Beer Garden where we have music playing, a great place to chill.
In the bar you can also find an Internet Point free of charge!

If your not up for a full meal and just feel like a quick snack, or some groceries, go visit our market!

After a busy day of sight-seeing the best thing to do is come back here and relax by the pool (no extra charge). There are many deck chairs at your disposal and hammocks. We also have a pool side bar with music, a great place to meet and greet!

If arriving in one of Rome\'s airports, don\'t fret. To book a bus you will have to send an email at least 3 days in advance to your arrival.
If you do not receive a confirmation email, then the bus has not been booked.
Payment for the transfer is to be made on arrival at reception.
Ciampino: €15pp (if you are only one person the price is €30). Pick Upis at the Arrivals bar. We already have a set time table so we will choose the best option.
Fiumicino: Is on request and the price differs from Ciampino.
N.B. Bookings office open 9.00-16.00 Monday-Friday, 8.00-13.00 Saturday, Sundays closed.

Directions

If you are in the city itself and are looking to reach Camping Tiber, just hop on the underground metro and head toward the Flaminio metro stop, on the A Line. Exit the stop itself, and change to the aboveground metro, F line, Ferrovia-Viterbo. Get off at the Prima Porta stop, and catch our shuttle bus, which runs every 30 minutes from 8 am to 11 pm to the campsite. We are only one kilometre away!

From the city after the last train -
Take Tram 2 from Piazzale Flaminio to Piazza Mancini, then bus 200 to Prima Porta.

From the city after midnight -
Take bus 25N from Flaminio to Piazza Mancini, then bus 24N to Prima Porta.
