The Sampaoli is a place dedicated to people interested in a quiet, decored, clean and friendly place.
It's not a convent but the only rule we pretend to be respected is about being decent because not all our guests would like to share others excesses.

We inform our kind guests that
starting from the 1st of July, the Florence City Council introduced the tourist tax.
the amount is 1 euro per person per night and it is NOT INCLUDED in the price and it is only payable directly in cash at the reception.
this tax is not applied to:children (up to 10 years old)

Twelve spacefull rooms for couple, friends, singles whom like to have the right space for themselves.
In our experience space, cleanliness and decore makes a place comfortable.
We are located in a 1000 years old building in the artistic heart of the renaissance town.
Perfect location :
It's just a few minutes from the train station (Santa Maria Novella), a short walk from the Cathedral (Duomo) and a few meters from the Accademia Gallery.
It is also situated close to the exposition center (Fortezza da Basso) and the convention palace.
Everything can be reached in a walking distance.
The most economical florentine parking (the parterre) is only 10 minutes walking in Piazza della Liberta.
The twelve rooms (8 are with bathroom) are comfortable, luminous and quiet and provided of tv/dvd .
In all rooms you'll be able to connect your laptop or telephone with our free wi-fi connection
The atmosphere is friendly and corteous , we are happy to borrow also guidebooks to better discover Florence.
The florentine's family management is happy to help with suggestions and informations as well as with reservation at the museums.
The Sampaoli doesn't pretend to present itself like your smartest choice to sleep in Florence.
We try to do our job with simplicity and care for the real needs of travellers, nothing more than that.
We hope that people could 'feel home' in this cozy place, we hope that this can be a place to rest, remember and miss yourself home, wherever you think it is.
From Train Station FIRENZE S.M.N. : take the left exit coming from the train tracks.
Cross the road and go right you will be soon in a sort of square called LARGO ALINARI.
Now take left and you will be walking into VIA NAZIONALE. the 4th road to the right is VIA GUELFA. walk in that street and take the 3rd road to the left.
That is our road, VIA SAN GALLO.
Check in time is from 9 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm.
we are at number 14 .
If you happen to take a train that takes you to a secondary train station in Florence ( FIRENZE CAMPO DI MARTE or FIRENZE RIFREDI ) please take another train that takes you to the main one which is FIRENZE S.M.N.
From the airport catch the bus that takes to the station ( only 4 euros)
