Four blocks down the road learn about exotic fruits and vegetables and become fully immersed in Costa Rican culture in the biggest, safest and cheapest outdoor market in San Jose from five in the morning until midday.

We offer first class transport from the airport to Casa Girasol at taxi on going rates or $20.00, all you have to do is send us an e-mail with your flight number and arrival time and we will have a driver waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name, simple convenient for late arrivals and travellers with lots of luggage. Also there is an excellent public bus service from the airport that will let you off on Paseo Colon four blocks from Mac Donald's Restaurant in Sabana Sur, just follow the instructions, you are five minutes walking distance from Casa Girasol good if you are arriving during the day and travel light.

By Car:
Coming on the highway to San Jose city, after approximately 3 miles from Juan Santamaria international airport you will find a bridge called J.J. Orlich, immediately you are passing it, take your right and keep on the small road, here you will pass in front of the Herradura Hotel and Country inn suites, after them, you keep going 200 meters and you will find on your right our white signal "Hotel BB Puerta del Sol" next to a small lake, you just follow the arrow.
