. Begin your journey from the dock in Homer Alaska. Travel to the head of Kachemak Bay to secluded Bear Cove. Travel is provided by Bear Cove Resort via Water Taxi!Enjoy your stay in your own private fully equipped cabin. Each package includes transportation, use of all kayaks and Bear Cove Resort amenities. Sit back in the authentic wood-fired hot tub and enjoy a view of beautiful Bear Cove. Chances of seeing wildlife from our viewing deck are plentiful. Also enjoy a hot shower after a full day of adventures. Evenings are a wonderful time to relax on the deck with your favorite beverage and possibly some Kachemak Bay Oysters harvested from Bear Cove Oyster Company. If your vacation trip to Alaska includes a visit to the Kenai Peninsula and Homer Alaska, Bear Cove Resort is your affordable alternative to experience a vacation of a lifetime.
Description of Vacation Rental Property
On the bluff overlooking Charlie Creek and a canyon carved by tidal action from Kachemak Bay, you may select between 2 comfortable & roomy log cabins. Both have plenty of space around them to insure privacy, as well as easy access to the Shower house, Main Viewing Deck and wood fired hot tub! The Tidepool cabin (12 x 16) sleeps up to six people with a sleeping loftThe Sea Star cabin (10 x 14) sleeps 4 with a sleeping loft.Each cabin has a private covered deck with built in benches and barbeque grill, charcoal and lighter fluidThe view from the deck of your private cabin is breathtaking and offers prime wildlife viewing. Loons, otters, seals and a multitude of birds may be your neighbors, bringing sounds both peaceful and energizing as you move through the day.
