It's an area with little or no pollution, rich in forests, caves, canyons, green pastures and waterfalls. Don’t miss the old wooden churches, the medieval fortresses and the traditional festivals either!
From relaxing one-day hikes where you can take superb photos, do birdwatching, sightseeing or cultural tourism, to off-road driving, rock-climbing, canyoning, gorge walking, caving or survival tours, everything is carefully planned and is taking place under the supervision of experienced guides with multiple qualifications.

Typical Day

After breakfast we will take the tour of Barsa Hollow, a fascinating and mysterious place that will remind us of Jurassic Park. After presenting the karstic system, we will reach the Black Cave and descend the active vertical gallery using the abseiling techniques we practiced before. Back to the daylight, we will take the path to the Barsa glacier, the third in size in the country after Scarisoara and Focul Viu. In August and September the blueberries will be tempting us from the sides of the path. We will return to the chalet through the Balileasa area. Dinner

Sleeping and meals

Accomodation in 2-3 star hotels and guesthouses with indoor bathroom, warm water and comfortable beds. Three abondant healthy meals per day included.

Hotels won't allow pets but most guesthouses will.
