Nestled into the tranquil hillside of Colle S.Giorgio with over four acres of ancient olive groves with 91 trees and beautiful terraced gardens with fruit trees, bushes, roses and lavenders. its elevated position commands magnificent panoramic views of the patchwork rolling hills of Marche, distant medieval towns on hilltops, Monte Conero and the Adriatic Sea.

The house is unique and full of character and has been restored with loving care. The guest rooms are beautiful, individually designed and stunningly styled with independent entrances allowing you, your privacy.
Romantic and spacious en-suite double guest room has a wonderful relaxing ambiance. Seating area and an inviting and comfortable classic double bed with iron frame, full size fridge, DVD player and hi-fi. Charming en-suite shower room with hairdryer.
The romantic double/twin guest room is charming. It is accessed through a private wooden portico with a vine hanging covered in grapes in summer leading to double glass doors to the bedroom with seating area and door to a spacious private dressing/shower room. Room fridge, DVD player and hairdryer. The double bed is large, comfortable and inviting. Please advise your hosts after booking if you require the room making up as a twin.
Room rates include our Italian breakfast which is served until 9.30am and 11.00am on Sundays. Breakfast is served in the garden or courtyard, weather permitting or in the farmhouse kitchen.
Guest rooms are cleaned & re-stocked daily and towels and bed linen are changed regularly. Tourist information and suggested excursions provided.

Located around 6km from the medieval walled town of Cingoli and only some 30 minutes drive from Ancona/Falconara international airport and the Riviera del Conero on the Adriatic coast, Il sorger del sole is ideally placed for holidaymakers or potential house buyers exploring the Marche region. We are happy to share our experiences of buying and renovating in Le Marche to potential house buyers.
There are several gourmet restaurants to please foodies and also many everyday restaurants offering a set meal of the day from 12 euros within easy driving distance.
Il sorger del sole is situated on a quiet country road half way between the villages of Avenale and Troviggiano. When arriving in Avenale at the crossroads near the bar/shop take the sharp turning down the hill signposted to S. Venanzo and continue for approximately 100 metres. At T junction (there is a Madonna Shrine opposite) turn left. Continue on this white road until you see our sign B&B & No. 40 on the right hand side. When arriving in Troviggiano take the road uphill from the main square signposted to S. Venanzo and continue until you see our sign B&B & No. 40 on your left. Regular trains from Rome, Milan or Bologna to Ancona or Fabriano with connections to Macerata or Jesi. There are buses from Macerata to most Italian cities including two buses a day to/from Rome. Local bus service in next village Troviggiano to Macerata and Cingoli with onward connections. Visit our website for more information.
