The Marlin Del Rey is a 66-foot sailing catamaran that has no match for size, comfort or service. Capable of reaching speeds of 25 knots under sail, the Marlin Del Rey has the power to travel farther and faster than any other boat in Central America. A forty-foot beam provides stability and space for you and your family to enjoy the Costa Rican sunshine.

Marlin Del Rey offers daily sailing charters from Tamarindo Costa Rica. Silently glide along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white sand beaches, tropical jungles and rain forest. Enjoy a cold tropical drink prepared and served to you by our bilingual staff. Gaze off the bow with a cold tropical drink prepared and served by our bilingual staff as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish or even a breaching whale. Stop in a tranquil bay, drop anchor and frolic in the blue Pacific. Kayak through sea caves, float on a raft, snorkel in the bay or run down the deserted white sand beach while the ever helpful crew prepares a feast of fruit, chips, dips, ceviche and salad.

After frolicking in the secluded bay, the crew hoists the sails and the Marlin Del Rey skims quietly across the surface of the Pacific passing Playa Flamingo, Playa Conchal, Bahia Amore, Bahia de Las Pirates, Playa Grande and finally Tamarindo beach. Feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your face as you prepare to witness one of the great joys of Costa Rica…..an enchanting Tamarindo sunset.

Sailing with Blue Dolphin is the best way to enjoy the beauty and wonder of the Costa Rican sea. Our comfortable catamaran, moored in the bay off Playa Tamarindo, is packed with amenities including trampolines for sunning and lounging, a shaded main salon, dining tables and benches, fresh water showers, a clean rest room, well maintained snorkel gear and kayaks, and easy access to the sea.

Our boat is safe, comfortable and lots of fun. With a warm and friendly crew, we make sure that families, groups, couples and singles all have a good time. Afternoon Snorkel and Sunset Sail:

This combination tour allows time for a little of everything. You will be able to enjoy the exhilarating performance of a catamaran while appreciating the comfort and safety provided by our professional crew. This spectacular journey along the Costa Rican coast is one you will be sure to remember.

Lounge in the sun and swim in the warm tropical water while spotting dolphins, rays and reef fish. We always begin our cruise in local coastal waters as we make our way to one of our snorkeling spots for a close-up look at local sea life. There is plenty of room on our spacious boat for relaxing and sunbathing, and lots of time for snorkeling, swimming or using one of our onboard single or double Ocean Kayaks.

This trip includes the gear to use, instruction and a guided underwater tour from our knowledgeable and friendly crew. Depending on the time of year and location, it is possible to spot schools of tropical fish, rays, eels, puffer fish, and other exotic sea life. After snorkeling, we serve a delicious buffet lunch and continue the full open bar service. As we return to Tamarindo, you will be able to witness one of Costa Rica’s stunning sunsets. This is the best way to end a day in Paradise.

Agua Rica offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere to small groups of divers. Full SSI certification courses of all levels are available including Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, First Aid, Rescue and Dive Master. We also offer a Resort Course if you haven't time for a certification. This includes 1 theory lesson, 1 pool lesson and 1 or 2 dives.

The Pacific Ocean in the Tamarindo area is teeming with life. Dive spots such as the Catalina Islands offer a stunning variety of sea life such as giant manta rays, cow-nosed rays, spotted eagle rays, moray eels, white-tip reef sharks, red snapper, roosterfish, parrotfish, pufferfish, sergeant majors, grunts, starfish, sea fans and live corals, as well as huge schools of bait fish, all waiting for you to join them in the dance of life below the sea. Kayaking Tours

TOUR IN THE GLADES

Length: 2.5 hours - $55 pp

If you love nature and enjoy healthy kayak workout, this tour will be excellent for you.

You can row in the still water between Tamarindo and Playa Grande and have the opportunity to observe the diversity of wild life, such as a variety of birds, alligators, iguanas and many more in this vast natural paradise.

2-Hour ATV Adventure Tour

Two hours of FUN!!! You will be transported from your hotel to the office in Brasilito beach, after a brief drive alongside the road, we will take the path to the beach crossing dirt roads, several beautiful beaches, surrounded by nature where we can observe variety of birds and with luck we will spot troops of Howler Monkeys.
We will be visiting the local towns and once we get to the top of the hill we will enjoy of the spectacular views over the Pacific.

Requirements for ATV Tours:

Minimum 2 participants for every tour.
Only those older than 16 years are allowed to drive; no restriction for passengers.
The client must submit a credit card as guarantee deposit for each ATV. In case of a family we will take just one deposit for up to 4 ATV’s. Every additional ATV will require another.
All drivers must show an ID.
Children under 6 with an adult do not pay.
Passengers on ATV’s are allowed if the driver shows experience and skills to drive the ATV.
The right to drive the ATV will be taken from those drivers who cause problems or fail to follow the instructions of the tour guide. This is for the purpose of avoiding accidents.
It is mandatory to wear helmets at all times during the operation of the ATV. Every tour includes a tour guide and water or a natural beverage.

Recommendations:
* Wear something that you do not mind getting dirty or stained with mud.
