Guests will sleep the night away on this suite's firm comfortable double bed mattress with hypo-allergenic feather topper and wake well rested, eager to explore Kingston's numerous historic sights and sounds and savor the delicious offerings at the area's multi-cultural restaurants. This suite's southern exposure overlooks the property's fragrant purple lilac grove that flowers in late May, as well as acres of treed and open fields. A spacious private bathroom with tub/shower is adjacent to this suite.The rich Prussian blue and gold colors of The Pintail Suite invite you to step back in time to the elegance and romanticism of the late 1800's when The Tymparon Inn was a stately family country home. Guests will sleep soundly through the night on this suite's firm comfortable queen mattress with hypo-allergenic feather topper, waking ache free and energized to climb Fort Henry Hill, stroll the grounds of the Kingston Mills Locks or ride the ferry to Wolfe Island and explore the sights. This suite's northern exposure overlooks acres of open fields. During mid to late June guests will enjoy the sights and scents of light and dark pink peony roses. The suite features an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.The bright cadmium yellow and dark cranberry colors of The Loon Suite invite you to savor the sounds and sights of the birds and natural wildlife surrounding The Tymparon Inn.     The Tymparon Inn is conveniently located halfway between Toronto (260 Km - 156miles) and Montreal (290 Km - 174 miles), just off Highway 401, so experiencing all of Kingston's many attractions and exploring the Thousands Islands couldn't be easier. From downtown Kingston (5 minutes): Take Highway 2 East over the Harbour Bridge past the Royal Military College and Fort Henry to the stop light at the top of the hill. Turn left onto Highway 15. The Tymparon Inn is 5 Km (3 miles) away and will be your first right after StarTek.From Toronto (2 1/2 hours): Take Highway 401 East; exit at Highway 15 (Junction 623) heading South toward Kingston (the last Kingston exit). The Tymparon Inn is 1.5 Km (1 mile) away and will be on your left.From Montreal (2 1/2 hours): Take Highway 401 West towards Toronto. Exit at Highway 15 (Junction 623) heading South towards Kingston. The Tymparon Inn is 1.5 Km (1 mile) away and will be on your left.From Syracuse (2 hours), Rochester (3 1/4 hours), Albany (under 4 hours), Boston (6 1/2 hours): Take Route 81 North in Syracuse off the New York State Thruway.     Don was born in Liverpool, United Kingdom and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was 6. He earned a BS and MA from the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston and retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 37 years in the Air Force. The Inn was named after Don's English family surname, Tymparon.

    Zoe was born in Lancaster, PA, lived in Montreal with her parents for 3 years during high school, earned a BS from Duke University in Durham, NC and an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. After 29 years of corporate marketing and public relations in the states, she retired and moved to Kingston to share life with Don and fulfill their dream of operating a B&B.
