Downhill and cross country skiers can enjoy Belleayre Mountain (a mere one mile away), Hunter Mountain, Ski Plattekill, and Wyndham Ski Areas, plus Frost Valley Ski Touring Center, which offers a 35 km marked cross country course.During warmer weather, bike, golf, fish, tube, kayak, and hike the State Park. Or spend the days wandering, auctions, flea markets and antique stores, all within a short distance of The Highlands Inn.

The Highlands Inn Bed and Breakfast is an award winning, turn of the centery Victorian in the town of Fleischmann's, NY. Open its doors and enter a simpler, more relaxing age. Our individually decorated rooms, most with private baths, and rich chestnut and oak woodwork, make it easy to call the Highlands Inn your home away from home. Every day begins with a hearty, Highlands Inn breakfast which may include homemade scones and muffins, waffles, French toast, pancakes, egg dishes, and fruits of the season... all topped off with plenty of fresh butter, jams, marmalades, and pure Fleischmann's Maple Syrup, hot coffee and tea... At The Highlands Inn, the Innkeepers' know breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

Description of Rooms/Suites

All our rooms are newly decorated and the three with private baths are newly renovated. New king and queen size beds and one room has two twins. Our two rooms on our third floor share a hall bath.

Amenities

Our retreats are offered with or without three meals a day. Private parties of 10 to 40 are available. The Inn has a living room with a 73" TV, a Billiard room and a libary with a piano. We offer coffee, tea and snacks in the afternoon and we also have wireless internet.

From points North or South NYS Thruway (1-87) to exit 19 - Kingston, NY Then Rt. 28 West for 36 miles to Fleischmanns NY.
