Barcelona City Urquinaona is our most charming place: a typical superb flat in a beautiful building of the begining of the XXth century, in the centre of Barcelona. A perfect place for independent travellers that look for a central but peaceful location. It is very recommendable for the travellers that come from Girona airport (Ryanair), as the bus station is just two streets away.
The City Urquinaona will allow you to live in a privileged location from which you will be able to make pleasant strolls to the most interesting places of Barcelona: Arc del Triomf and Citadella park, the gothic quarter, the Sagrada Familia, the monumental and shopping area of the Passeig de Gracia and Rambla de Catalunya, the Ramblas and Catalunya square... That is a property to feel Barcelona under your feet!
Be well-served by three lines of 'metro' (underground) one step away, that take you easily round the city (direct line to 'Fira de Barcelona'). We are also two streets away from the train station 'Arc del Triomf' and from the bus station 'Estació del Nord', arrival station of the buses that come from Girona´s airport (Ryanair).
Take a coffee in our terrace and enjoy one of the most peaceful streets of the city centre. A simple and clean place to stay, prefect to relax after a day of visits or work.

From Barcelona´s airport (Aeroport del Prat)
You can take a taxi or take the Aerobus in front of your terminal, that will bring you until Catalunya square (is the last stop, don't get off before). There, ask for Urquinaona square and from there ask for Bailen street.
Don't take the train from the airport! They are making reforms and you will have to change of train three times!
From Girona´s airport (Ryanair flights and other airlines)
Take the bus from Girona´s airport to Barcelona. The will bring you to 'Estació del Nord', that is just five minutes away from the Barcelona City. Take Ali Bey street until Bailén street, we are in the 13th.
By Metro
Catalunya station (Line 3 and Line 1) is a five-ten minutes walking from the property. The nearest stations are Urquinaona (Line 1 and Line 4), Arc del Triomf (Line 1) and Tetuan (Line 2).
By Bus
All the night buses stop in Plaça Catalunya, near the Guesthouse, as a lot of day lines.
By train
You have to get off always you can in Arc del Triomf, that is the nearest station. If your train stops only in Sants station, the best and fast way is to take a 'Cercanías' train (trains that go near Barcelona) and get off in Arc del Triomf station. The other option is to take the metro in Sants station, but it will leave you not so near of the property or you will have to change of line to get nearer.
