Surrounding Area

PJVilla is situated in a quiet village just 10km from Veliko Tarnovo, the ancient capital in central Bulgaria. PJVilla offers guests the opportunity to see real Bulgarian rural life as it happens. Bird watching, walking & cycling on the provided mountain bikes are especially suited to the area. There are good shops, restaurants & bars nearby in Veliko Tarnovo as well as the historical interest which abounds.

Especially of interest to those who need an adrenalin rush, there is rock diving into a river pool only 15km away. Pete will be happy to dive with you and show you the safest places to take the plunge. Diving from 2-8m

Accommodations

PJVilla offers comfortable air conditioned accommodation which was new in 2006. The accommodation is separate from the main house and close to the pool. There is a sheltered terrace and open stoned terrace running the length of the accommodation where each suite has its own furniture.

Rooms/Suites

PJVilla offers two suites to let. Each suite has large bedroom with walk in wardrobe & good sized bathroom with corner bath & shower over. There is a beige suite with twin beds & corner bed settee, Also the green suite with double bed and bed settee. Tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press are available in both rooms.

Amenities

PJVilla has a good sized swimming pool with loungers & parasols. A sauna is located in the main house. There is exercise equipment available including an exercise bicycle. There are four mountain bikes available for free hire & maps, haversacks etc can be provided. There is free broadband access to the internet including wireless connection to laptops throughout PJVilla. TV with cable & DVD films, library & games are also available. There is a cocktail bar/tea garden which serves light lunches and evening snacks.Salads are a speciality at PJVilla. A programme of events is published throughout the summer season including music nights, games nights etc.

Services Offered

Maid Service is offered twice per week and barbecue evenings are arranged throughout the season. Traditional Bulgarian cuisine can be made available on request.
