DeSoto State Park, named the Best Beach in the United States in 2005 and the southernmost point to a wide variety of sugar-sand beaches stretching all along an area known to locals as “The Suncoast.” Many barrier islands dot the western Gulf coast as well, and attract some of the state’s most diverse seabird populations. The Gulf is also ideal for deep sea and backwater fishing, as are the Tampa Bay area’s many freshwater lakes and rivers. To the east, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Kennedy Space Center and other world-renowned attractions await. Our most popular weekend rental features a firm, king size Sealy Posturepedic mattress with 250 thread count poly cotton sheets, mini-refrigerator, microwave, satellite television, clock radio, sitting area with table, free local telephone service, corian top vanity, bathtub/shower combination, lush 18 oz. bath towels, coffee maker, hair dryer and our Caliente signature toiletries.
