40km from St Emilion, Our 300 year old house on the site of an ancient windmill is a tastefully restored 'Girondine' of great charm. Set in secluded, landscaped gardens bordered by vineyards and rolling countryside, it is the perfect place to relax. An aperitif on the terrace before dinner? All our en suite rooms have hair-drier and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a cosy mezzanine living room,with TV, DVD, video, books, music and games available. The dining room has a wood-burning stove and view over pool.
Mediaeval St Emilion, famous for its fabulous wines, is 35 minutes' drive away. We are surrounded by dozens of wine Chateaux offering tours, tastings and direct wine sales.

There is a host of other activities available in the surrounding area, including cycling (the safe cycle path is literally one minute from our door), cultural events, medieval towns and daily markets, churches and abbeys, Chateaux, gardens and every kind of sporting activity.
We also provide an evening meal on request. English and French spoken.

Directions

One hour's drive from Bordeaux and Bergerac airports, Le Moulin is ideally situated in the famous Entre-Deux-Mers region.

We are actually 30 mins drive from St-Emilion

Please note that it is extremely difficult to get to our property if you do not have your own transport

From our local town of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, take the D671, signed for Creon and Bordeaux. Do not turn off for Daubeze. Go right through the village of St. Brice. Count off three new houses on your right, and turn right at the next bend onto a small road leading up through vineyards and fields. Le Moulin is the only house at the top.
