In 1880, Richard Starr ran a stagecoach trail through Starr Pass in the rugged Tucson Mountains, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the wilds of western Tucson. That historic pass is now the fifteenth hole of the Starr Pass Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course. Now you can experience the wonder of golf in the Sonoran desert while you enjoy the comfort and hospitality of Starr Pass Golf Suites.

The city lights of Tucson are minutes away, providing easy access to shopping, fine dining and entertainment. Day trips to Mexico and the historic towns of Tombstone and Bisbee provide a taste of the Old West for true adventure seekers. Description of Accommodations

Casitas and Suites at Starr Pass Golf Suites in Tucson are designed to harmonize with the Sonoran foothills surrounding them. They include fine appointments like open beam ceilings and Mexican tile floors and are furnished in charming Southwest contemporary style. Each offers a view of the dramatic desert beauty surrounding Tucson, and is within easy walking distance of the golf course and clubhouse.

Choose from three floor plans, from cozy studios to airy two- bedroom casitas with fireplaces and private balconies.

Description of Rooms/Suites

Deluxe Studio Suites offer 405 square feet of efficient space with two double tempur-pedic beds and one bath. They also have a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave oven, with dishes and cutlery for preparing snacks and light meals. Entertainment amenities include cable television with a DVD/VCR player, as well as high speed internet. You can also relax in a small sitting area, graced with a southwestern style armoire.

Master Suites have 895 square feet of living space and include a full size living room with sofa sleeper, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. They also offer wood burning fireplaces and furnished private balconies for year-round enjoyment. The master bedroom includes a king-size tempur-pedic bed, and private bath with tub and separate shower. For your entertainment you’ll find two TV’s with cable service, DVD/VCR and high speed internet.

Two Bedroom Casitas offer a generous 1300 square feet of Southwest comfort, with two full bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedrooms have a king-size tempur-pedic bed and two double tempur-pedic beds. Bathrooms have either a shower/tub combination or separate shower and tub. For those special gatherings that include a special meal there’s a full kitchen and dining room with all cooking and eating utensils and microwave oven. There’s also a washer and dryer for your convenience. You’ll also find 3 TV’s with cable service, as well as DVD/Video player and high speed internet. Casitas also feature wood-burning fireplaces and private furnished patios to make your time together even more enjoyable.

Starr Pass Golf Suites is located 3 miles west of Interstate 10 on Starr Pass Boulevard in Tucson, AZ. Tucson is readily accessible via most major airlines and Starr Pass is only 13 miles from the Tucson International Airport.

Please note: Due to construction on I-10, directions to the resort have changed. Please refer to revised Directions below or contact the resort. This is a temporary incidence due to many development projects in the surrounding area. Rev: 8/1

From Tucson International Airport:
From the airport, take Tucson Blvd to Kino Pkwy (follow signs to city center) follow Kino to 22nd St. Turn left on 22nd and continue under the freeway (the name of the road will change to Starr Pass Blvd) 3 1/2 miles into the Starr Pass development. Turn left into the Clubhouse.

From Eastbound I-10:
Take the PRINCE RD. exit. Follow the frontage road 7 miles until you reach 22nd/Starr Pass Blvd. Turn right onto Starr Pass Blvd. and follow 4 ½ miles into the Starr Pass Development. Turn left into the clubhouse.

From Westbound I-10:
Take the 22nd/Starr Pass Blvd exit. Exit number 259. Turn left on Starr Pass Blvd and follow 4 ½ miles into the Starr Pass Blvd Development. Turn left into the clubhouse.
