Active Adventure

MotoVentures offers Off-Road Motorcycle/ Dual Sport Tours in California, Arizona and Baja California. On most MotoVentures tours you will have the option of attending one of our Pre-Tour Riding Clinics on the day before where you can develop or sharpen your riding skills, practice, play ride, and prepare for the big multi-day dual sport adventure ahead.

On a MotoVentures tour we'll ride in the best places in the American Southwest: the Arizona and California deserts and mountains, and beautiful Baja, California, Mexico at the best times of the year. We have a great tour option for almost every rider, from beginners to experts, from individuals to groups, and to satisfy almost anyone's budget or desire for a great adventure. You can join us solo or as part of a group and you can bring your own bike or ride one of ours. We require reservations at least 30-days in advance. Five riders minimum, twelve riders maximum.


Our tour routes vary depending on the season. In the winter, we'll follow routes primarily in the lower and warmer elevations of the desert, while in the summer we'll follow routes primarily in the higher and cooler elevations of the mountains. In spring and fall, we can ride through both the mountains and the deserts. Each day we'll start off with a hearty breakfast, enjoy a delicious lunch along the way and feast on delicious southwestern meals every evening. At the end of the trail each day, you can just kick off your boots, take a warm shower in your comfortable, clean and quiet hotel room, and then settle down to watch a spectacular sunset with your favorite beverage, recapping the day's events with your new found friends. Following a great dinner and a good night's rest, we'll do it all over again with fun new routes and another great destination.

So regardless of where you want to ride, from dirt bike training in California to dual sport tours in Arizona, California or Baja, when you want to ride and how many days you want to ride, MotoVentures can accommodate you, and you'll be amazed at what you'll discover and how much fun you can have. Typical Day

On one of our Multi-Day Tours we'll start the day with a hearty breakfast. On your Tour we'll introduce you to the most fun and scenic riding in the area you chose to tour. Whether you're a novice or expert you'll log plenty of miles,see incredible sights and have the option of tackling many challenging obstacles along the way. We'll be sure to stop at all the best photo opportunities along the way including but not limited to: scenic vistas, historical landmarks,rustic lunch stops, hot springs, wildlife, remote caves, water crossings, Indian ruins, historic grave markers, abandoned mines, fishing holes, museums, trading posts, dams, etc. At the end of the trail each day, just kick off your boots, take a nice warm shower in your comfortable clean hotel room and then settle down to watch a spectacular sunset with your favorite beverage recapping the day with your new found friends. Then it's off to dinner where you'll feast on fine southwest cuisine.

Age range, type of group

We offer Tours for all levels of riders-novice, experienced and expert, groups, singles, and families-anyone who can ride. Each Tour is adapted to match the level of the group.

Sleeping and meals

On our Multi-Day Tours each night after a day of riding, we stay at excellent hotels located in nearby towns and enjoy wonderful American southwest cuisine at nearby restaurants.

MotoVentures currently offers seven different training options: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Private Coaching, 2-Day Training, Training Tours, and Motorcycle Trials. Our unique training curriculums feature step-by-step instructions, demonstrations, and riding exercises designed to develop sound fundamentals. We build on existing skills and increase overall control and confidence. Our exercises were developed from years of racing, testing for factories and magazines, riding dirt bikes, street bikes, and dual sport bikes. We teach valuable and practical skills for conquering any terrain obstacle you may encounter; mud, sand, rocks, hills, logs, ruts, etc. We believe in custom tailoring our curriculum as much as possible to each person and group â€" not a take it or leave it, cookie cutter course. We also believe in providing practical training lessons that represent and prepare you for the real world. We encourage practicing, and additional training is always available so you can take your riding to the next level.

MotoVentures Anza Rider Training Center is conveniently located in Southern California between Temecula and Palm Springs where we offer motorcycle rider training every week. The private 350-acre rider training facility is exclusive to MotoVentures customers. Our large property is truly unique and one of the largest dedicated off-road motorcycle rider training sites in America. It’s not a tiny featureless dirt lot near the city and not a flat dirt parking lot next to a motocross track. We have a wide variety of challenging natural terrain to improve your skills on including a large unobstructed training range for new riders to safely get started on and for novice and intermediate riders to take their riding to the next level and we have a motocross track to practice our jumping and cornering skills on. Our large areas are also excellent for exercises that include turning and braking, and for advanced exercises like wheelies and slides. Our property includes various hills, a long sand wash, and plenty of rocky/rough terrain areas too. Advanced riders and trials riders can enjoy the more challenging terrain, where we utilize various rugged single track trails. Even our trials training sections feature perfect obstacles for new trials riders and plenty of challenges for expert trials riders, too.
