Description   Las Camas Hostel

Jaco is the ultimate Pura Vida place and the closest beach town to San Jose. As well as Costa Rica's best surfing spot it's just a cool town to hang out at. Beautiful sunsets on the ocean, awesome nightlife and endless activities around to choose from.

Las Camas is a brand new Hostel by 2 European backpackers. We have AC dorms and private rooms or You can sleep in a tent up on the roof as well. Not in the rainy season though....
We can book all kinds of tours for U and help with any info You might need. Or, if You just wanna chill out doing nothing, up on our roof top patio we play nice music all day. Enjoy people watching from rocking chairs or hammocks, have a coffee on the house....or get a beer and B happy! :-)

We are very easy to find. Once U are in Jaco get off the bus or taxi at KFC and Quiznos on the main street. We are right across from there. See 'directions' for more details.

Directions

From the San Jose airport get a bus or take a cab to the 'Coca-Cola' bus terminal in downtown San Jose. That's about a 15 min. taxi ride. From there You need to buy a bus ticket to Jaco before You get on the bus (3$). The ride is about 2,5-3 hours long. If You take a cab from the airport the official taxi company will charge You 75$ to get You here. But, You can find taxi drivers that should take You here for less than that if You bargain. When You are in Jaco, tell the taxi driver to drop You off at KFC or Plaza Coral. We are right in Jaco Centro on the main street between the 2 best party places, Monkey Bar and Jungle Bar so You can't miss us! :-)
And, if You get here before or after hours, just ring the bell behind the gate.
